Brendon Palmer is an attorney whose practice focuses on construction law, including mechanic’s liens, payment disputes, bond claims, and construction-related litigation throughout Texas. He represents contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, developers, and property owners in a wide range of construction disputes, from pre-suit claims through litigation and post-judgment enforcement.
Brendon brings significant litigation experience to his construction practice. Since becoming licensed in Texas in 2018, he has handled a high-volume docket involving business disputes, creditor’s rights, and construction-related matters. He has served as lead counsel in hearings, mediations, depositions, and settlement negotiations, and has extensive experience drafting petitions, dispositive motions, and settlement agreements. He also has substantial experience in post-judgment enforcement and collections, an area that frequently overlaps with construction payment disputes and lien enforcement .
Prior to joining Lovein Ribman, Brendon practiced at a Dallas-based law firm where he managed approximately 400 cases in various stages of litigation while regularly working directly with clients to develop strategy and drive resolution. His practice now focuses on construction-related matters statewide, including the preparation and enforcement of mechanic’s liens, bond claims, Residential Construction Liability Act claims, and other disputes arising from commercial and residential construction projects .
Brendon earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he received the American Jurisprudence Award in Alternative Dispute Resolution and was named to the Dean’s List for five semesters. During law school, he gained hands-on litigation experience through legal clinic work, a judicial internship, and licensed legal intern positions that included drafting pleadings, researching complex legal issues, and arguing motions in court under attorney supervision .
He received his undergraduate degree from Austin College in Sherman, Texas, where he studied business. This business background informs his practical approach to resolving construction disputes and advising clients on risk management and contract performance.
A lifelong North Texas resident, Brendon grew up in Keller and now practices in Dallas. Outside of his legal practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing pickleball, traveling, and attending sporting events with his family.
