Overview

McKenly Redmon is a Law Clerk at Lovein Ribman, P.C., where she focuses on commercial and residential construction law matters, including litigation and transactional work.

McKenly is a Juris Doctor candidate at SMU Dedman School of Law, with an expected graduation in May 2026. She will sit for the Texas Bar Examination in July 2026. While in law school, she developed strong analytical, research, and advocacy skills through her work as a Notes Editor for the SMU Science and Technology Law Review and her participation in competitive trial advocacy, including the Texas ABOTA Best in Texas Voir Dire Competition.

McKenly has gained broad litigation experience through multiple clerkships with law firms handling commercial disputes, insurance matters, and complex civil litigation. Her work has included drafting motions, preparing pleadings, analyzing discovery, organizing evidence, and assisting with case strategy and trial preparation. She has also conducted legal research and drafted memoranda on a range of commercial litigation issues, providing support across all phases of the litigation process.

In addition, McKenly has experience with transactional and client-facing work through her participation in the Small Business and Trademark Clinic, where she assisted with client counseling and business-related legal matters.

At Lovein Ribman, McKenly supports the firm’s attorneys in representing owners, developers, contractors, and other construction industry participants in disputes and transactional matters throughout Texas. Her combined litigation training, transactional exposure, and attention to detail position her to contribute to the firm’s construction law practice from both a strategic and practical perspective.
