There truly are not enough words to express what Lovein Ribman, P.C. has meant to my husband, Tim, and me. Our attorney, Matthew Amos, Mr. Lovein, Ms. Ribman, Matthew’s wonderful paralegal, Kristen Hill, and Kim, who greeted us so warmly every time we walked through the door, became so much more than a legal team to us. They became people we trusted, people we cared about, and ultimately, people we consider family and friends for life.
Matthew Amos represented us through an extraordinarily difficult, years-long legal battle involving State Farm. I watched firsthand how hard this young attorney worked for us. Matthew is incredibly intelligent, determined, compassionate, and dedicated to his clients. During our trial, he spent seven straight days fighting for us, sacrificing time away from his own family. But what people did not see were the years of preparation that came before those seven days: the countless hours studying our case, preparing our evidence, answering our questions, listening to us, and standing beside us when we needed someone most.
I will never forget that.
Mr. Lovein and Ms. Ribman gave Matthew and this firm the opportunity to take our case when we felt we had nowhere else to turn. What they gave us went far beyond legal representation. They gave us their time, their knowledge, their compassion, and their humanity.
"Lovein Ribman handled our matter professionally and efficiently from beginning to end. Matthew Amos was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and supportive throughout the entire process. Communication was always clear, and we felt well informed every step of the way. We truly appreciated the firm’s professionalism, dedication, and assistance in helping resolve our case successfully. We are very grateful for their help and would confidently recommend the firm to others needing legal representation in construction-related matters. Anyone working with Matthew Amos and Lovein Ribman will definitely be in capable and good hands."
Matt is a wealth of expertise. Also, they have one of the most beautiful offices I’ve seen in years.
I grew up in Decatur where I attended DHS. I worked through college at UNT and graduated in three years with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a minor in Applied Gerontology. I immediately attended Baylor University School of Law on a full tuition scholarship.
I have been practicing law since 2015. I have handled cases ranging from only a few thousand in controversy to over $30,000,000.
I immediately began litigating at a Houston firm that handled a wide variety of litigation, including employment law, large FLSA collective actions, trade secrets, emergency injunction practice, and personal injury.
Shortly before the birth of my first son (in 2017), I made my way back to North Texas to the reputable litigation firm, Touchstone Bernays. I handled cases all around the State of Texas focusing largely on construction litigation and trucking litigation, among other miscellaneous business matters.
I joined Lovein Ribman in 2023, where I handle cases around the state, focusing mainly on construction and other contract cases. I take seriously my role to fight for homeowners who have invested their time, energy, and money (sometimes their life savings), trying to build their home, remodel their home, or simply repair their home. I also take seriously the defense of businesses against frivolous lawsuits. I handle every case aggressively but try to obtain fair resolutions in each one.
When I am not working, I spend time with my wife, beautiful baby girl, and two young sons. When not spending time with family, I read history and sociological literature and play war games.
