Sam Schmidt comes from a ranching family in Johnson County, where he learned and worked many trades including cowboying, welding, and landscaping. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and a minor in Entrepreneurship from Baylor University wherein he joined Pi Kappa Phi and traveled with the Spanish department to minister children in Eastern Spain.
Mr. Schmidt graduated from Baylor Law School in 2022. During law school, he worked for Judge Kevin Yeary at the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and completed Baylor’s five-month Practice Court—the second ranked trial advocacy program in America. Mr. Schmidt joined Lovein Ribman after graduating. He enjoys camping, bluegrass music, and C.S. Lewis novels.
