About Colt

I grew up in Arlington, Texas, right in the heart of the Dallas Fort Worth Metro-plex. After high school I attended Texas A&M University where I earned degrees in Political Science and History in 2013. I studied multiple discipline including, aerospace engineering and veterinary medicine, but decided to pursue a career in law. I earned my Juris Doctorate at the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2016. While I enjoyed my time in Oklahoma, I knew that my heart and my home would always be Texas.

After graduating from law school, returning home to Texas, and passing the Texas Bar, I began practicing as a trial attorney. I have tried 23 civil jury trials to verdict as a first chair attorney; conducted over 100 depositions; and participated in over 100 mediations. I chose being an attorney over anything else because I enjoy the challenge of helping my clients with their different and unique issues each day.

I love giving back to the community that helped raise me, whether it is teaching Sunday school to young children, helping with the Salvation Army at Christmas, or a mission trip.
